In the last class we talked about the Violence Against Women, Sara and I talked about the workplace harassment and we did a prezi about it.

This it's a song about the respect against women of my favourite singer Tupac Amaur Shakur.

Violence Against Women

Today we had an special class, we went to computer's class and had a diferent exercice, we made groups of two or theree people, and select a type of VAW(Violence Against Woman), and made a presentatation of it. My group did it about rape, one of the worst types of violence, because it causes physical and psycological injuries, we did it on Prezi.

Yesterday was the day of violence agaist woman, because of it we made this activity today. Gender violence is a serious problem, because in a big part of the world is accepted like a costume, for exemple in India the act of rape is not a crime, and it's normal, every day a lot of woman are raped and killed for her's husbands and nobody goes to cell or is judged, that is narrated in a Jn Sistiaga 's report, named "No es país para mujeres".

VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMAN

I'm going to talk about violence against women as we have done at class today.

It makes me feel so sad and worried when I talk about this, also to the rest of the class is the reason why we were like that today, because is really sad the fact that a lot of woman nowadays still suffering it.

There is violence against woman in a lot of situations that people think it is usual and normal.

The world advances in a lot of aspects but in others it seems we go back.

Can we do anything? Do we? Could the woman that suffer it answer them? How?

There are a lot of questions and a lot of opinions, in my hubble opinion we can only make awere people and try to help the women that we know maybe they are suffering it.

I have chosen this video because it is made by the world association of scouts, and I have been scout since I was a child.

It is very interesting, because it has made me think more about it.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

In the past few days, we've learned about Remembrance Sunday and we've had the opportunity to reflect on the First World War and even commemorate some veterans.

The poppy

Last Friday was in my opinion the best class, only the activity of Halloween had been better.
First of all the teacher showed us a flower and we had to find out what it was. 

It was a poppy. I was the one who found out what it was.
The poppy is a symbol to commemorate those who died in World War I.

First we had to open a page where we had to sign in, in order to commemorate one person who had died in IWW. Then, the teacher gave us some pieces of coloured felt and we cut them with a pair of scissors to make the shape of a poppy.

GUY FAWKES

In our Holidays Unit, we've been dealing with History. Have you enjoyed the story of Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder plot? It is very interesting that people still celebrate it 400 years later, isn't it?
